How we act online

We know that technology provides so many benefits; our ability to connect, learn and express ourselves has never been greater. However, it has also introduced a lot of ethical grey areas when thinking about online interactions. Young people have told us that it is often unclear whether an action is the right thing to do. Our Digital Compass program brings young people together to discuss whether specific actions are mostly okay or not okay. The resulting discussion aims to build a shared understanding of right and wrong.

However, it is not just young people that need to learn how to navigate the ethics of the internet. We would like you to do the same. Select whether the following nine interactions are mostly okay or mostly not okay, and see how your answers compare to other adults who have completed this survey.
